Tyler Legacy High

Smith County has ten public independent school districts (ISDs) with the largest being Tyler ISD. Tyler ISD opened a new Career & Technology Center in the Fall of 2015, which connects students with real‐world experiences from a variety of career fields and interests in a rigorous, project‐based learning environment.

Tyler is also home to 18 private schools serving over 4,000 students and offers several magnet and charter school options.
